The Assumption College of Davao (ACD) greeted the School Year 2010-2011 with a successful salvo of its Environment Campaign that bannered the theme “Katarungan Para sa Inang Kalikasan! Ito ang Ating Laban para sa Pagakain at Kalusugan ng Sambayanan”

OF THE MISSIONARIES OF THE ASSUMPTION)

This gospel echoes incessantly in the hearts of every missionary affirming every feminine power, vigor, and potentialities and embracing every trace of doubts, flaws and vulnerabilities during the 6th General Chapter of the Missionaries of the Assumption with the theme “Women Missionaries Recapturing Our m.a. Spirituality to Strenthen Our Mission”.

The 21st Foundation Anniversary of the Missionaries of the Assumption (m.a.) was held last April 1, 2010 - the Holy Thursday of the Lenten Week. To harmonize with the spirit in the period of penitence and fasting among the Christian population around the world, the m.a. sisters decided to have a simpler commemoration of its more than two (2) decades of existence as a Society of Apostolic Life (SAL). They have decided to have a prayer celebration instead held at the Sisters’ Chapel in the m.a. convent inside the Assumption College of Davao (ACD) campus.
